For our screening systems that mount to existing porch framing with only screws, you will need about 12 per 8 foot length. Add a screw 2 inches from each end and then about every 8 inches in between.

This applies to original Screen Tight, MeshGuard, Mini Track, Screen Wall (perimeter components), and Screen Block. Fast Track uses special clips to attach and requires additional screws.

Screen Tight base has pre-punched slots for screws. The screen will pull very tight so it’s important to put a screw in each of the pre-punched slots so that the base is securely attached to the wood framing.
